Aspen Rae was born on December 19, 1986 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. She had a passion for performing at an early age and was involved with many school plays and musicals while growing up.

Aspen’s choice of career is due to her completion of Theatre Arts Program at Victoria Composite High School in Saanich, British Columbia where she graduated in 2003. After graduating from high school she was a member of a musical improv troupe called the Loose Moose Theatre Company for a short period before getting involved in modeling, acting and broadcasting.

Aspen Rae’s career began in 2002 when she started hosting her own radio show on the local college radio station CKXU-FM which was then followed by work at Victoria based community cable television station Channel 27 where she worked as a VJ and Reporter.

She was also selected for the nationally acclaimed television series SMart. Along with her hosting roles, Aspen used to be a morning show producer at 88.9 The Breeze in Kelowna, British Columbia and has reported news at Global BC Television News in Vancouver.
