She first became interested in animal advocacy when she was just 10 years old after watching Dog Whisperer on Animal Planet with her family.

She then started associating herself with animal charities that were actively fundraising for animals including Pets Alive, Home For Our Little Friends, and Wayward Paws Rescue. At 25 years old she finally decided to take the plunge and start Claudia’s Cat Rescue of her own.
